Thousands of golfers voted in the annual poll conducted by the magazine, and Pinehurst earned a perfect 100 score in this year's rankings.

Kiawah Island in South Carolina came in second, followed by Pebble Beach in California.

Pinehurst also ranked No. 1 in 2005. Last year, it finished third behind Kiawah Island and Pebble Beach.
