Sarah Bisher, owner of Abigail's Bake Shop, is the next mom on our Made by Mom Gift Guide. She's the Raleigh mom of three whose really delicious cupcakes I featured back in April. And I'm sorry to report that this time around, I didn't get to sample any of her amazing cupcakes.

("Holy cow," was the reaction of my five-year-old as we cut into a chocolate one with strawberry filling).

The Bisher family moved back to Raleigh earlier this year after Sarah's husband was laid off from his job as a pastor. Sarah had been baking for years and had started selling some cupcakes and cookies. With the layoff, the couple decided to really focus on the business. Abigail's Bake Shop was born.

Sarah tells me things are going really well with orders for cookies, cupcakes and cakes through February. But she's got room to squeeze in orders for the holiday season and notes she's got gift certificates too if you want to add a sweet future treat to a stocking.
