Entering kindergarten must make you a genius overnight because my five-year-old, suddenly, knows it all!

I'm thinking this is how it happened: Sometime between recess and lunch, they take your child, set them in a chair, give them some Goldfish to preoccupy them and then program their brains, Matrix-style, to know everything their parents will ever try to tell them!

"Carys, wash your hands, it's dinner time!"

"I know."

"Carys, please put away your shoes."

"I know."

"Carys, you have to take all your medicine even if you feel better or it will make the germs stronger."

"I know."

"Carys, e=mc2 means energy is equal to mass times the speed of light squared."

"I know."

I guess I’m boring her.

Have you noticed any changes in your kid since school started?
