Lynda Loveland: Just the good stuff!

I thought I would open it up for everyone to write some good news about their child. Parenting is full of days where it feels like you're getting your butt kicked so why not play up the positive on the other days!

I’ve been writing this blog for a few years now and you’ve read all kinds of stories about my kids: The good, the bad and the ugly.

There were probably more in the “bad” and “ugly” category. Around this time last year, I wrote about my two oldest kids maxxing out their strike chart and missing out on trick or treating. It was a hard lesson, but it was definitely learned!

Anyway, how about some good stories? I thought I would open it up for everyone to write some good news about their child. Parenting is full of days where it feels like you’re getting your butt kicked so why not play up the positive on the other days!

Here’s my good news. My daughter Campbell, the animal enthusiast/soccer-loving tomboy, made the Art Club at school! She was beaming when she came out of their first meeting. And my son Caiden, best described as a school non–enthusiast, has been working very hard with his tutor and most excellent teacher to raise his grades to another level. THAT, makes me smile!

Your turn!
