it's really exciting. You get to kind of just enjoy the day and you know, we're hot, we got hot at the right time, Obviously going into a C. C. Tournament and to be able to bring home a championship in. Durham kind of carry that momentum into regional play. It's exciting. What does it do for you guys to have a 12 game winning streak going into the national tournament as far as how far you guys can go when it really matters. Yeah, I mean major shows you you know how close that this group is and how when we get a little bit of momentum going our way, how dangerous it can be. So it feels really good to have that. We'll need it. Just watching you guys look so confident and just you know, Burnley relaxed up there today. Just kind of have you seen that shift as you guys have what kind of work through this season? Well I think it's a bigger shift into you know how the program is going and that trajectory. You know, my freshman year, obviously a really great season, there were gonna be in my sophomore year a little bit closer to the bubble, but to be in on an automatic bid with a C. Championship, I think just goes to show uh, where this program said and the good things that have for us. And I know we kinda dwelled on it this weekend with you coming back being a leader, being a captain, that sort of thing. But just how big was that this season kind of when there was that lull in the middle of the season that you guys really needed somebody to step up. You know, what was that like for you? It was special, you know, definitely didn't do it alone as sort of the whole veteran lineup honestly. But it means a lot, you know, as coaches said, it really validates that decision to come back to Duke for 1/4 year. What open that a little bit. Things weren't going so well in April two. I don't expect that you'd be here today in the, in the championship as a automatic. Uh, you know, I mean, those are some tough times for the team as a whole. Um, but you know, we always believe we kind of knew that at some point, thank you. Start going our way. Um, we had to kind of stay the course, but not me. It's hard when you're losing a sissy games like that at the rate that we were weekend after weekend. I mean, it's tough to stay in the fight, but credit to the staff and credit to the other guys were able to do it and things ended up working for us because I've already played Liberty twice. How big were some of those midweek games for you guys to play good teams that were not in the Yeah, I think those two Liberty winds are some of our most important wins in the whole season. Honestly, they're a really good team. They've taken down some opponents this year, another midweek. So it's good to play them. It's good to have already seen some of the guys. So we'll carry that in this regional. For sure. We're talking to catch forward about the immediate aftermath of the mobile series bus ride back the quick practice when you got back to Germany was saying that was, I went with the season. Could have gone either way. He credited a senior leadership of guys like you and my for keeping the city together. Just can you elaborate a little bit of where you were, where the team was at that point and how you responded? Yeah. I mean, I think you just work so hard and you put in so much time, um you know, and everybody's grounding for it and you're not really being rewarded. Um You know, we're losing games. Um, and we just had so much invested in this season, so much invested each other and, you know, you can say stay the course as many times as you want, but at some point, you know, good things got to start having. So you're kind of doing it with, with no vision of how it's going to come out at the end of the tunnel. So, um, took guts from everybody from the top down, but, you know, happy things ended up going on for us. He was quite frankly that he questioned the team's toughness. It has to be tough on you to be a senior captain. Your question, your team change toughness. Yeah, absolutely. I mean I took it personally. I think a lot of the other veterans on the team took it personally too. But I think it was kind of a gut check that we needed kind of let us up honestly. So can you sing Rocky talking to sleep? I think a couple of guys already standing up there in the room, so we'll be hearing that by the end of the week, you will be able to say yes, sir.

Hi, everyone. Meteorologist Anthony Baglione here in the Wral Severe Weather Center. Let's talk about our forecast as we head into the upcoming week. As we head past this weekend, we have a couple of things there, what we're tracking as far as sunshine returning. So it's been definitely kind of a cloudy weekend for most of us on the whole. Should be a very pleasant start to the week though. Some sunshine getting through warmer temperatures, nineties by the time we get into our Thursday and then a holiday weekend, rain chances very early starting on, let's say Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We're just tracking the potential for some rain heading into the holiday weekend. I'll talk about that here in just a second. Otherwise, let's talk about what we're looking at here. Future cast wise, there could be a spotty Sprinkle as we get into tonight for the most part though. Uh, just about everyone's quiet. Something to keep in mind though. There could be some fog out there for your Monday morning commute. We should start off with a little bit of fog. We'll start off with partly cloudy skies and really keep a mix of sun and clouds through the majority of the day. It'll be dry though to start the week and actually a pretty good day. If you want to just enjoy out on the patio or something, it should be fine. Maybe firing up the grill tomorrow night. Sounds kind of good. We go to 80 degrees for a high temperature tomorrow. 76 at seven o'clock. And then we start to see a warm up once again. 84 on Tuesday, 88 on Wednesday, we should hit 91 by the time we get to our Thursday 86 on Friday. And I know a lot of times when that heat kind of comes back into the forecast that begs the question, is it gonna feel gross as you walk outside? I really don't think it will the next couple of days it does get back in the humid kind of category though for us Thursday, Friday, we're not quite too tropical where we could be during the summertime months. But I think for our Monday, Tuesday, even into Wednesday, it should feel fine as you're headed out. Just a little bit of humidity. There's what we're looking at here the next seven days. 80 on our Monday, 84 on Tuesday, we go to 88 Wednesday 91 Thursday. You see those rain chances starting to come in there. Thursday, Thursday night, a stray shower or a thunderstorm. The best chances at the this point look to come in Friday night, Saturday during the morning, we may get a break. Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon doesn't look like total drenching conditions, but just enough where if you're traveling, you may want to keep an eye on the forecast here with a couple of chances of showers and storms.
