Obituary: Jake Delhomme

Jake, you were a good brother to Dilly Freckles and Penelope Buttercup, a good pet to Peyton, and an interesting adversary to Mom and Dad. We’ll miss your cuddling up in the evenings while we all sit in the living room, and your pawing on the shower door, and the way you loveD peanut butter. We think of you often and sometimes look for you on the futon in the sunshine before we can catch ourselves. Eating that poinsettia was a bad way to go; though you made a fuller physical recovery, your psyche was never the same. We remember the good times, the fun times, and mourn your passing like it was yesterday.
