Guys, you have to see this: The Squatty Potty Toilet Stool. When I buy a house, I want my NYC remodeling contractor to work a squatting toliet into the plan. Until then, I have to settle for this footstool that supposedly (the statistics have yet to be confirmed by my own analytic skills, but let's just say that I am usually one to think that the human body's original design is best) promotes good colon health. The idea is that the human body is designed to eliminate in a squatting position, and eliminating while sitting might cause colon problems. The squatty potty raises your feet up while you are sitting on the toilet so that you are in a more natural squatting position.

Question: Do you think I could DIY one by just using any old foot stoool? Maybe a small ottoman? Concrete blocks? People would think we're crazy. They will say, "Why do you have concrete blocks in front of your toilet?" Then we will have to explain over the dinner table that it is so we can use the toilet in a squatting position. It will be awkward. But we will laugh. I think it will be worth it.
