Can moms really "have it all?" MomsRising's North Carolina chapter will host a moms' night out in Cary next Tuesday to talk about that age-old question, which made headlines most recently after this article in The Atlantic.

The group, which lobbies for issues such as paid family leave, paid sick days and other issues, invites moms for appetizers and discussion. It's at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Unwine'd, 201 W. Chatham St., in Cary.

MomsRising will provide the appetizers as the group socializes for the first 45 minutes. Then they'll talk about the challenges women face as they strive to be a good parent and good employee. The N.C. Justice Center will be there to collect stories from anybody who wants to share their experience trying to balance work and family responsibilities.
