RALEIGH, N.C. — A Louisburg man is being accused of indecent liberties with a child after a July 31 incident.

Ryan Rashad Reynolds, 24, of 135 Wilders Lane, was charged Monday with indecent liberties with a child and first-degree sex offense with a child. Bond was set at $1.5 million.

Wake County District Attorney Melanie Shekita said that the victim was a 12-year-old mentally disabled girl whom Reynolds paid a dollar in return for sexual activity.

Reynolds was already serving five years of probation for a 2013 conviction of indecent liberty with a child in Franklin County. The victim in that case was 4 years old.

Reynolds was arrested by Zebulon police and he is scheduled to appear in court in Wake County on August 24.
