North Carolina's Amtrak is offering a great deal for kids this summer.
Through Aug. 27, kids ages 2 to 12 can ride for just $5 to any destination in North Carolina. The deal is good on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The child must be accompanied by a paid adult.
To get the deal, use discount code V615 when booking your ticket on ncbytrain.org. Two kids can each ride for $5 per one paid adult.
Where can you go? Stops between here and elsewhere include Charlotte, Greensboro and Rocky Mount. North Carolina Amtrak's website has more information.
