Judy Schachner, Kevin Henkes headed to Quail Ridge ... this fall

Here's something for your calendar ... admittedly they are a bit in advance!
Judy Schachner, best known for her Skippyjon Jones series, and Kevin Henkes, the Newbery Honor and Caldecott Medal-winning author, will be visiting Quail Ridge Books & Music in September.
Schachner will stop in at 6 p.m., Sept. 8, with her new book, "Dewey Bob." "A sweet raccoon stars in this endearing tale of unexpected friendship," writes Quail Ridge children's staff. It's best for ages 3 and up. This will be a signing line ticket event, which requres a purchase of the new book at Quail Ridge to get a ticket to have it signed. More details to come as it gets closer to the event.
Henkes will be here at 7 p.m., Sept. 22, with his new picture book called "Waiting." It's best for ages 4 and up. He's known for books such as "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse," "Owen," and "Kitten's First Full Moon." This also will be a signing line ticket event. More details to come!
Quail Ridge is off Wade Avenue in Raleigh.
