Johnston County authorities said Tuesday that they are awaiting autopsy results on a 4-month-old baby who died over the weekend before proceeding with their investigation.

<b>BENSON, N.C.</b> — Johnston County authorities said Tuesday that they are awaiting autopsy results on a 4-month-old baby who died over the weekend before proceeding with their investigation.

Jeslynn Allen was found unresponsive Saturday in the bedroom of a home on Turlington Drive outside of Benson. Paramedics took the baby to Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield, where she was pronounced dead.

Investigators are trying to determine how she died.
