The week ahead: Jingle in July, Tomatolicous

The week ahead includes tomato day at the Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market and a special Jingle Clauses bash.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A look at the events coming up this workweek: 
Monday: Mura is hosting a Wine and Sake Dinner - $55 per person, includes six courses and beverage pairings. This month's dinner will have a mix of seafood dishes and summer fruit specialties. 
Tuesday: "Altar Boyz" brings the praise and the comedy to Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts through Sunday. 
Wednesday: The Raleigh Downtown Farmers Market is getting tomatolicious with special tastings, giveaways and more! The market lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in City Plaza. 
Thursday: The Capital City Clauses are kicking off their party season with Jingle in July at City Limits Saloon. Old Habits will provide music and look for some great food trucks out there. Party starts at 5:30 p.m. Just bring a a new unwrapped toy valued at $10 or a $10 cash donation.

Looking ahead to this weekend, the Canes are hosting Summerfest and there is going to be a special Scoop for Troops event in Cary! Our weekend picks come out on Thursday!
