Jim's Henson's Pajanimals, a TV series on PBS Kids Sprout, will go on tour for the first time this spring and one of the stops is the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Jim's Henson's Pajanimals, a TV series on PBS Kids Sprout, will go on tour for the first time this spring and one of the stops is the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Pajanimals Live: Pajama Playdate is 6 p.m., April 3, in Durham. The show, designed for ages 1 to 5 and their adults, features the Pajanimal characters - Squacky, Sweet Pea Sue, Apollo and Cowbella. Kids are invited to wear their pajamas and bring their bedtime lovey.

Here's a description of the show from DPAC's website: "Pajanimals Live: Pajama Playdate will feature Squacky, Sweetpea Sue, Cowbella, and Apollo singing all of the Pajanimals greatest hits. The live show features two acts and an all new story that’s full of audience participation and interactivity. ... The live show experience will be filled with lively music, interactive fun, and silly adventure, all set in the cozy comfy environment of the Pajanimal world."

Tickets, which are on sale now, are between about $20 and $40 (plus fees). Kids under age one do not require their own ticket if they're going to sit on somebody's lap. Everybody else must have a ticket.
