Staff and inmates from the Wake Correctional Center donated more than $1,000 in coats, hats and gloves to the WRAL Coats for the Children campaign Wednesday.

Staff and inmates from the Wake Correctional Center donated more than $1,000 in coats, hats and gloves to the WRAL Coats for the Children campaign Wednesday.
The Men's Service Club at the center raised money for the winter clothes through food sales within the facility and through recycling efforts.
