Indecent exposure reported in Cary

Over the past two days, people have reported a man exposing himself in the Williamsburg Manor-Nottingham Road area near Crossroads shopping center.

CARY, N.C. — Cary police are urging citizens to take precautions and act quickly after three recent reports of indecent exposure.

Over the past month, people have reported a man exposing himself in the Williamsburg Manor-Nottingham Road area near Cary Crossroads shopping center.

Police said the man has not approached anyone, but they are urging residents to always be aware of their surroundings and walk in well-lit and well-traveled areas and, when possible, with others.

They also remind people to contact 911 if confronted and to notify authorities quickly to help increase the chances of apprehending the suspect.

In most cases, the man has been described as white or Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old and standing 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall.
