Hunting, fishing focus of Wildlife Expos this weekend
The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission will hold Wildlife Expos this Saturday that focus on hunting, fishing and other outdoors activities.
Posted — UpdatedThe events, which happen across the state, take place in our region in Raleigh and Fayetteville. One event takes place at Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday. The other is at the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center in Fayetteville from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday.
Both expos will feature a variety of fun, hands-on activities designed for all ages. They include opportunities to shoot a bow and arrow, handle live reptiles, go kayaking, learn outdoor cooking, go fishing and more. Admission is free. And the events even include a free lunch.
