HUGE Amazon Prime Day sale on Wednesday

Amazon is celebrating their 20th anniversary on July 15 with a 1-day sale that is supposed to rival Black Friday sales. Walmart is even getting in on the action by offering their own big sale on Wednesday. Read on for the details.

Amazon is celebrating their 20th anniversary on Wednesday, July 15, with a 1-day sale that is supposed to rival Black Friday sales. According to Amazon.com, the sale will offer "exclusive deals from electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden, sports and outdoor items and more."

The catch is that you have to be an Amazon Prime member to get these deals. The annual membership fee is $99 but they are offering a 30-Day free trial if you want to sign up and take advantage of the sales.

The discounts begin at 12 AM on July 15 and there will be new deals as often as every 10 minutes.

Amazon is also offering giveaways on Wednesday through the Prime Photo and Prime Music services including Amazon gift card giveaways of $10,000 and $25,000 to a few lucky winners.

Walmart Sale

Walmart is even getting in on the action by offering their own big sale on Wednesday. They will be lowering prices on over 2,000 products and will also offer "special atomic deals." They have not released the details about the special deals at this time.

In addition, Walmart lowered the minimum Free Shipping requirement from $50 to $35 and you can now get unlimited free shipping for $50 per year. The pilot program offers 3-day or sooner shipping. You can see more information on their website.
