An 18-year-old Hope Mills man faces sexual exploitation charges after authorities said he distributed videos depicting children engaged in sex acts.
Posted — UpdatedHOPE MILLS, N.C. — An 18-year-old Hope Mills man faces sexual exploitation charges after authorities said he distributed videos depicting children engaged in sex acts.
Toby Loring Batton, of 807 Makay Court, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with 10 counts each of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
Investigators said Batton possessed and distributed several videos of children ages 3 to 15 engaged in sexual activity with adults and other minors.
