Holiday Recipe: Church window cookies
These very sweet and extremely kid-friendly cookies come from a recipe passed down by my husband's grandmother.

They're easy to make and fun for kids to help with. Plus, they require no baking. So if you already have a batch of another cookie in the oven, you don't have to wait until they are done to start in on these.
10 ounces of colored miniature marshmallows
Melt chocolate chips and butter together. You can do this in a saucepan on the stove or in the microwave. Fold in the nuts and marshmallows. Divide mixture in half to form two large rolls. Roll each in coconut. Wrap in wax paper and chill for 24 hours. Slice into 1/3 inch cookies.
One note: We had trouble finding the colored mini marshmallows. We finally tracked them down at Kroger.
