Henderson man charged in Franklin slaying
A Henderson man was arrested Friday in the death of a man whose body was found in a Franklin County field.

LOUISBURG, N.C. — A Henderson man was arrested Friday in the death of a man whose body was found in a Franklin County field.
James Marshall Small Jr., of 212 N. Bullock St., was charged with first-degree murder and was being held without bond at Central Prison in Raleigh.
Eddie Ronald David Jr., 20, of Henderson, was found shot to death Tuesday off U.S. Highway 401. Authorities said David had been reported missing in early October.
No information as to a possible motive was released.
