What's your experience been with local soccer programs? Do you have a favorite? What would you recommend?

It's about time to sign up for many fall soccer programs in the Triangle.

I usually post a question from a reader in our Help a Mom series. Today, I'm asking a general question about soccer for kids in the area. There are so many options to choose from - indoor and outdoor, big competition league or smaller recreation program.

What's your experience been with local soccer programs? Do you have a favorite? What would you recommend?

I'll start: My daughter has played soccer with Salvation Army in Raleigh. We've loved the program and the coaches and have been very happy with the low-key introduction to the sport. We've also had great success with their T-ball and baseball programs.
