I received this email from a reader a day ago. She is looking for a parents' night out program where parents can drop off their kids for a few hours while they go out on the town.

Here's what she wrote:

Some friends and I are planning a ladies night out while our boys go out for a bachelor party. Most of us have children. It would be great if we could find [a parents' night out program] for the Saturday we want to go out on Aug. 18 so that we could all use it and go have fun. Our kids would all have a blast playing with each other as well.

The families lives in Raleigh, she tells me. The kids range in age from 3 to 8.
