Harris Lake County Park hosts family camping night

For the not-so-outdoorsy among us (including me), I appreciate the family camping nights that museums and parks are offering from time to time.
Wake County's Harris Lake County Park in New Hill has one coming up. The Family Camping Experience is 5 p.m., Aug. 5, to 11 a.m., Aug. 6, at the park. Enjoy some s'mores, take a night hike and enjoy other optional activities. You bring the tent and other equipment you need. The park will provide the food and activities. Space is limited for this one. It's $8 per person.
