Harnett student claims hands taped; teacher suspended
A Harnett County teacher has been placed on administrative leave after a kindergarten student said the teacher duct-taped his hands together, officials said Tuesday.

A teacher at Boone Trail Elementary School, whose name hasn't been released, was placed on leave with pay after the alleged incident was reported March 30, officials said.
The child told another teacher of the alleged incident, which was then reported to school officials.
A spokeswoman for Harnett County Schools said the district takes all allegations of abuse of students seriously.
