Harnett deputies capture man after domestic incident

Harnett County sheriff’s deputies said they were called to a domestic disturbance about 7 a.m. Sunday at a house on Dean Road near Lillington.

At some point, a man inside the home who was armed with a gun ran into the woods and was captured with the help of a K-9 and helicopter search.

The man, whose name was not immediately released, will be charged with felony kidnapping and assault, deputies said.
