Hard luck for Spring Hope saloon
The Spring Hope bar known as the Hard Luck Saloon burned down Sunday night. The building is a total loss, a town spokesperson said.

SPRING HOPE, N.C. — The Spring Hope bar known as the Hard Luck Saloon burned down Sunday night. The building is a total loss, Spring Hope Fire Chief Travis Green said.
The location, at 803 E. Nash St., was formerly the Bachelors Tavern.
When firefighters arrived at about 11 p.m., flames were shooting from the building, Green said.
No one was inside at the time, and no one was injured in the fire.
