Harris Teeter

6-9 to 6-15

e-Vic Specials this week:

Tide Detergent, 50 oz $4.77 - .35/1 coupon from 6/6 = $4.07, limit 1

Clorox Bleach, 96 oz. $1.17, limit 1

HT yourhome paper towels, 8 roll $4.77, limit 1

Palermo’s Pizza, 13 – 32 oz $2.77 (limit 1 at this price) - $1.00/2 printable coupon. If you buy 2, one is on sale for $2.77 and the other is $3.33. The total for 2 with coupon and e-Vic = $5.10 ($2.55 each – a good deal). If you sign up for newsletter, they send you a coupon for $1.00/1 pizza.

Weekly Meal Deal: Buy one Rosina’s Meatballs, 32 oz. for $7.75 and get the following items free: 13 oz Celentano cheese ravioli, 24 oz Newman’s Own pasta sauce, 11 oz Pepperidge Farm Garlic Texas Toast , 2 liter of Pepsi Product. Must purchase the 5 items in one transaction. Savings on the 5 free items (according to the ad) = $10.42.

So, is this a good deal? Since I don’t like ground beef and never eat meatballs, it’s not for me. BUT, if you buy these meatballs anyway, it is a good deal. The meatballs end up being $3.87 per pound so you will definitely have leftover for at least one more meal (or more if you use less than 1 lb of meatballs per meal). If I were buying the items that are free I would probably spend about $3.50 on them total with sales and coupons, so unless you usually pay full price for the items, you are not really saving $10.42, as the ad indicates. But, they are still free and if you normally eat meatballs and can stretch the bag of meatballs into 2-3 meals, it’s a pretty good deal. Throw in a veggie at $1.50 or so and the total for the meal is under $5.50 (as long as you only use 1 lb of the meatballs in the meal).
