Gearing up for a diaper change at the Great Cloth Diaper Change

The Great Cloth Diaper Change returns to Sweetbottoms Baby Boutique this Saturday.

The annual effort is part of an international campaign to raise awareness of cloth diapering and an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed at one time. Last year, the event set a new world record with 8,459 cloth diapers changed at one time at locations in 18 countries across six continents, according to the Great Cloth Diaper Change's website.
The local event is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, at the boutique at 2845 Jones Franklin Rd. near the Raleigh and Cary border. The actual change happens at 11 a.m., sharp. If you'd like to participate in the Great Change, you'll need to sign up. Participants, who will get a swag bag while supplies last, can register on Sweetbottoms' website.

The event also includes live music, face painting, fairy hair, demonstrations and in-store specials. I usually get to attend as an official witness each year, but schedules have collided. I am sad to miss seeing those adorable babies!
