Grand opening scheduled for Knightdale Station Park
The first phase of the 76-acre park includes four athletic fields, a dog park, picnic pavilions, restrooms and a playground with a large play barn structure.

A quick post to update that a grand opening date has been scheduled for the opening of the new Knightdale Station Park, which sits near downtown Knightdale.
The grand opening is set for 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Aug. 17. The first phase of the 76-acre park includes four athletic fields, a dog park, picnic pavilions and restrooms. But the main piece for many Knightdale parents is the playground, which, among other features, includes a large play barn structure. I really look forward to checking this playground out.
