Government IDs latest Lejeune casualty in Afghanistan

Lance Cpl. Christopher S. Baltazar Jr., 19, a Marine assigned to Camp Lejeune, died Thursday in Afghanistan, the U.S. Department of Defense said.

Baltazar, of San Antonio, Texas, was supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
