GOUGE Wrestling, food trucks highlight free CAM event

Raleigh celebrates Independence Day
RALEIGH, N.C. — On Sunday (Feb. 21), GOUGE Wrestling will host a free event at CAM Raleigh (409 West Main St.). There will be wrestling, beer from Double Barley Brewing and Cousins Maine Lobster, Kocina and Manna food trucks. The event is noon to 5 p.m. will be here.

Takeover Tuesday’s at the Berkeley Cafe
This week (Feb. 16), BulKogi will take over the Berkeley with a Taco Tuesday menu. All tacos feature a Korean-fusion combining their signature BulKogi flavors with salsa, roasted corn and ceviche in corn and flour tortillas. All profits will go to a local charity.
The following Tuesday (Feb. 23), Manna will take over the Berkeley's kitchen. Chef Ryan will be using local craft beer from Deep River, Double Barley, Foothills (how does a Sexual Chocolate Cheesecake shot sound), Nickelpoint and Raleigh Brewing in his recipes.
Pairing of the Bulls IV Dinner
On Monday (Feb. 22), Bull City Ciderworks and Bull City Street Food will host a pairing dinner. The meal highlights a few year-round ciders and a seasonal Oak Aged Cardinal Cin. There will be five ciders and five courses. This is good event to see how Bull City Street Food will operate a kitchen at the new Bull City Ciderworks location in Durham later this year.
NC Food Rodeos at Grove Winery & Vineyards
For those looking for a day trip, get ready for some food truck rodeos at Grove Winery and Vineyards in in Gibsonville. There will be rodeos on March 20, April 10, May 8, June 12, July 10, Aug. 14, Sept. 18, Oct. 8 and Nov. 13.  In addition to the food and wine, Greensboro-based Natty Greene’s beer will also be on hand.

Ever wanted to be first in line for your favorite food trucks? The Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo has announced its dates for this year: May 1, June 12, Aug. 7 and Oct. 9. VIP early admission wristbands, which let you get in to buy food before the general public, are on sale now.
