Here's a look at our Best Bets for this weekend! 

Downtown Durham get ready because Saturday is the Doughman Challenge! Teams of four will bike, run, swim and eat their way through this race after eating items like that burger above! Think triathlon meets competitive eating. It was even featured on the Travel Channel’s "Man vs. Food." The race starts at 8 a.m. at Durham Centre Parking Lot. Spectators are welcome! All proceeds benefit SEEDS, Durham Inner-city gardeners program, and SeeSaw Studios. A banquet will be held that night at Motorco Music Hall. That is open to the public as well. Tickets are available.

Spring Lake will host its annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. The 82nd Airborne Division Band from Fort Bragg and others will march. A ceremony will be held immediately after at Veterans Park at the corner of Ruth and Main streets. Make sure to check out our full list of Memorial Day events
The Pour House in Raleigh his hosting a Battle of the Bands this Saturday night. See new talent in the area take the stage hoping to win the crown. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 day of.
