Google Fiber to host Made with Code Party for teen girls

To mark Computer Science Education Week, Google Fiber and Google are inviting girls ages 13 to 18 to attend a free Made with Code Party on Wednesday in downtown Raleigh.

It's 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, at CAM Raleigh, 409 W. Martin St. During the event, teens will take part in several coding projects including accessorizing a selfie, animating a dancing monster, creating musical beats and making a holiday emoji.

They'll also meet and hear from women coders and discover how code and computer science skills can help them pursue their interests.

You'll need to RSVP, which you can do by following this link to a Google form. Food and drink will be provided.
