Goldsboro police seek two men wanted in separate murders

Goldsboro police are seeking the public's help in finding two men wanted in connection with separate murders that happened during a three-week period in September.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police are seeking the public's help in finding two men wanted in connection with separate murders that happened during a three-week period in September. 

According to authorities, Angelo Mandril Burden killed Gary Devon Buckom and Donald Lee Mewborn on Sept. 7. Burden, a 38-year-old black man, is 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 280 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, police said. 

Police are also searching for Quinton Leon Swinson II, who is wanted for the murder of Jairus Mikeal Saunders on Sept. 30. Swinson, 24, is 6 feet tall and weighs about 280 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and goes by the nickname "Fat Boy," police said. 

Swinson has the word "north" tattooed on his right arm, the word "Swinson" across his back, "DOE" on his right hand and the words "Fat Boy" on his left arm.
