Easter Egg Hunters Get an Early Start
By
Sarah Lindenfeld Hall

Easter is April 4 this year. But it's never too early to celebrate (at least according to retailers who put the Easter candy out right before Valentine's Day).

If you're looking for the Easter Bunny at the mall or planning to take the kids to an egg hunt, find out here when and where it's all going to happen.

And a couple of words on the egg hunts: If you're a newbie, don't waltz in a few minutes late. Many last only moments as kids rush to get the most candy-filled eggs. It's best to arrive a little early to get your places. Unless otherwise noted, all these events are free.

This list should at least get you started in your planning. Be sure to click on the links to find complete addresses and more details. I'm still waiting to hear from a few organizers and will be updating the list over time. And you can find more events in WRAL's Out & About calendar.

And if your business, church or community event is not listed here, please add it in the comments.

Happy Easter!
