Porsche exhibit extended in Raleigh
The North Carolina Museum of Art's Porsche by Design: Seducing Speed exhibit will be up through Feb. 2.

The exhibit, which opened in October, was originally set to run through Jan. 20, but you can now view these cars through Feb. 2.
The 22 cars on display include ones owned by designer Ralph Lauren, Steve McQueen and Janis Joplin. The exhibit traces Porsche's design aesthetic since its inception in the 1930s through present day.
The exhibit was curated by guest renowned automotive journalist and former director of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles Ken Gross.
Museum members get in free. For non-members, adult tickets are $18, while those 65 years and older, members of the military, large groups and college students get in for $15 each. Youth tickets (for ages 7 to 18) are $12 and children 6 years and younger get in for free.
In addition to the exhibit extension, the museum also announced a "Hoods Up" weekend where the public will be able to get a look under the hood of several Porsche cars in the exhibition and examine their engines.
The "Hoods Up" weekend is Friday, Jan. 24 through Monday, Jan. 27.
The museum has hosted two previous members-only "Hoods Up" events.
