Get a first look at the new Rock 'n' Roll Marathon medals
The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon will takeover downtown Raleigh on Sunday, April 12.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Out and About got a first look Monday at the new medals for those runners finishing the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon in Raleigh.
The races will be held Sunday, April 12, in downtown Raleigh.
The race, which features live music throughout the route, is in its second year in Raleigh. The half marathon route remains the same this year, but the marathon route has seen some changes to reduce the hills and amp up the scenic views.
This year's free post-race festival at Red Hat Amphitheater will feature Smash Mouth.
Spots remain open for the marathon and half marathon. Check out the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon website to register.
