Are you wondering what is inside that giant globe along West Jones Street in Raleigh? Well, you don't have to wait until April 20 to find out.

You can get a first look at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences' new wing, the Nature Research Center, during a special Gala After Party on April 13.
Tickets ($75 per person) are on sale online until Monday. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The After Party starts directly after a Gala featuring scientists and special guests. Gala tickets ($200 per person) are sold out.

From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., enjoy a late night menu, test tube shooters, an open bar and dancing to music from the Crooked Smile Trio and TFC Band.

The globe, known as the "Daily Planet," will be converted to a disco with DJ music.

Festive attire is suggested and valet parking is available.
