Free entrance to National Parks on Saturday, April 17
All National Park Service sites that normally charge an entrance fee will offer free admission on the following dates in 2021 including April 17th!

* January 18: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
* April 17: First day of National Park Week
* August 4: One year anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
* August 25: National Park Service Birthday
* September 25: National Public Lands Day
* November 11: Veterans Day
In North Carolina, the only National Park that charges a fee is the Wright Brothers National Memorial. I have visited this National Park and it is very interesting. If you go, I highly recommend the free presentation from the park rangers about the Wright Brothers and the history of the memorial.
