RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State University police are on the lookout for four men in a silver sedan who tried to rob a group of students early Saturday.

Around 2:45 a.m., police said, four students were walking on campus along Dan Allen Drive, near the West Dunn Building, when they were approached by the men in the sedan. The would-be robbers implied that they had a gun and told the students to empty their pockets.

When the students refused, the men drove away.

No one was injured and the victims didn't report seeing a weapon.

Anyone with information is asked to call campus police at 919-515-3000.
