Four Oaks man accused of raping child
The Johnston County Sheriff's Office arrested a Four Oaks man Monday following a nine-month investigation into the April rape of an 11-year-old child.

FOUR OAKS, N.C. — The Johnston County Sheriff's Office arrested a Four Oaks man Monday following a nine-month investigation into the April rape of an 11-year-old child.
Jiony Lafortune, 34, was charged with rape of a child and taking indecent liberties with a child. He was being held Tuesday at the Johnston County jail under a $1 million bond.
Authorities said the assault happened at Lafortune's Black Creek Road home.
