Four charged in shooting of Hoke store clerk
Sheriff's deputies have arrested three Raeford men and are searching for a fourth man charged in the shooting of a clerk during a convenience store robbery in Hoke County last week.

Harold Anton Evans, 28, Cameron Eugene Philips, 28, Ryan Demario Evans, 21, and Robert Lee Farmer, 23, all face an attempted murder charge in the Wednesday shooting of Nasir Husein.
Harold Evans, of 506 Doc Brown Road, remains at large. He is known to frequent the McDougal Downs Mobile Home Park and the Doc Brown Road area.
Phillips, of 900 Sterling Court, is being held in the Hoke County jail under an $800,000 secured bond. Ryan Evans, of 375 Stoney Point Road, and Farmer, of 502 Boxer Court, have also been arrested and given $500,000 secured bonds.
All the suspects also face charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, assault inflicting serious injury, discharging a weapon into occupied property causing serious injury and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Sheriff Hubert Peterkin said that Husein was shot once in the upper body with a .40-caliber handgun during the robbery at the Zip N Mart, at Arabia and Golf Course roads in Stonewall.
Husein's injuries are life-threatening, and he is in serious but stable condition after undergoing surgery, Peterkin said. He was in critical condition immediately after the shooting.
Harold Evans has a 2008 conviction for assault on a female, and Ryan Evans has 2009 convictions for felony possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to state Department of Correction records.
