ABERDEEN, N.C. — A body found in Aberdeen on Friday has been identified as Amy Sands, the Moore County woman who has been missing since early November, Aberdeen police said Monday.

Sands, 47, of Ed Thomas Road, was last seen Nov. 4 after leaving Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Aberdeen police said Sands was inside an Aberdeen Walmart when she had a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital.
