Foul play not suspected after body found along Durham highway
Deputies with the Durham County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death of a person after a body was found near Highway 55 and Hopson Road.

DURHAM, N.C. — Authorities don't suspect foul play in connection with the death of man found Saturday along a Durham highway.
The Durham County Sheriff's Office said Monday that a preliminary investigation has found the man – discovered on N.C. Highway 55 near Hopson Road – likely died of natural causes.
Investigators, however, are awaiting the results of an autopsy to be sure.
The man's name has not been released until his next of kin can be notified.
Meanwhile, detectives ask that anyone who might have information about the case to contact the sheriff's office at 919-560-0880.
