Fort Bragg investigating soldier's death
Fort Bragg announced Tuesday that it is investigating the death of one of its soldiers who was found unresponsive in his barracks room and died Sunday.

Pfc. Jeffrey Hyde worked as a health care specialist and ambulance aide driver with the 82nd Airborne Division.
A native of Irving, Texas, he joined the Army in 2008 and came to Fort Bragg after completing basic combat and advanced individual training.
Hyde deployed with the 82nd Airborne Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from August 2009 to July 2010.
During his service, he was awarded the the National Defense Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon and the Parachutist Badge.
Hyde is survived by his son, Caleb, 8, and his father and mother, Phillip and Judy Hyde of San Antonio, Texas. A photo of Hyde was not available, Fort Bragg officials said. No other information was released.
