Former Sampson teacher pleads guilty to child porn charges
A former Sampson County middle school teacher admitted Monday that he distributed pornographic images of young boys.

Paul Stephen Pearsall, 31, of the 11000 block of Ludhorne Drive in Roseboro, plead guilty to a federal charge of distribution of child pornography. He faces a potential prison sentence up to 20 years.
Prosecutors said that authorities identified Pearsall as the person who offered multiple times to share child pornography. A search found hundreds of child porn images and video on his computer, prosecutors said.
On the day of his arrest, Pearsall resigned as an eighth-grade science teacher at Hobbton Middle School in Newton Grove, where he had worked since February 2008.
