Former Panther Creek High student killed in Myrtle Beach wreck
A former exchange student at Panther Creek High School died Wednesday after being hit by a bus in Myrtle Beach, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedCARY, N.C. — A former exchange student at Panther Creek High School died Wednesday after being hit by a bus in Myrtle Beach, authorities said.
Olha Marchuk, 20, was riding a bike and crossed into the intersection of 9th Avenue North and Kings Highway, where she was hit by the back wheels of a Coast RTA bus that was making a right turn, authorities said.
Marchuk, a native of Ukraine who was working in Myrtle Beach for the summer, died at an area hospital.
No charges were filed against the bus driver.
