Food Bank 24-hour telethon starts today at noon

The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina is having an entertaining and important 24-hour telethon starting today, Friday, 9/11 at 12 noon! I'll be chatting with them live on Friday at 12:15 pm. I hope you can tune in to the online event!

The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina is having an entertaining and important 24-hour telethon starting on Friday, 9/11 at 12 noon!

I'll be chatting with them live on Friday at 12:15 pm. I hope you can tune in to the event taking place on the Food Bank website.

Here are the event details:

When: The Telethon starts at 12 noon on Friday, September 11 through 12 noon on Saturday, September 12.
What: 24-Hour online telethon with the goal of raising $50,000 to provide 250,000 meals to our neighbors in need. The Food Bank and Gregory Ng (Food Bank Social Media Ambassador & CMO of Brooks Bell) are coming together once again to raise food, funds and awareness as a part of the national Hunger Action Month movement.
Where: See the Telethon online at their website at www.foodbankcenc.org. The Telethons is taking place at the Raleigh Food Bank Headquarters at 3808 Tarheel Drive, Raleigh, NC.
I'll be chatting with the host, Gregory Ng on Friday at 12:15 pm about ways to save on healthy foods and some specific great deals this week. You can see the interview live at 12:15 pm on Friday on their website.

If you get a chance to join us at the event, they welcome your food and fund donations. If you can't make it out to the Food Bank, please consider donating online to help those in our community who are food insecure. Many of those struggling are children and your donation can make a huge difference. For every $1 donated, the food bank can provide $10 worth of food or FIVE meals!
