Flames destroyed a house under construction early Wednesday morning in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Flames destroyed a house under construction in Raleigh.

Officials said the fire broke out shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday at 1419 Nottingham Road.

There is no word on what sparked the fire, but investigators said there was no electricity going into the house.

Officials said the house was under contract for nearly $900,000.

Police said they are investigating all possibilities, including arson, but they have not yet ruled the fire as suspicious.
